Mandek Consulting is facilitating a series of design thinking workshops under the SIMPI project, aimed at improving jobs and livelihoods for refugees and host communities across IGAD member states. As part of this ongoing initiative, we are supporting the implementation of the Kampala Declaration, which focuses on economic inclusion and self-reliance. Our role involves planning, moderating, and reporting on workshops that engage government experts, refugee representatives, and private sector stakeholders to collaboratively develop innovative solutions. Additionally, we provide coaching to national governments, ensuring the effective implementation of the most promising ideas generated during these workshops.
